Is This My Future?

 Because I'm kind of small, Grace sometimes dresses me up like I'm one of her dolls.  Recently, she gave me the princess makeover.  I was fine with it.  I understand that it's a big sister thing.

 I also understand that there's only one queen, and that's Grace.  She rules, and not in a good way, if you know what I mean.

But I got her back by eating one of the Toms sparkle shoes she loves so much.

Blue Steel!

I'm looking for work.  I really want to be able to earn my keep and not be a freeloader to my parents.  I think I could do pretty well as a model if someone would just give me a chance.

I'm not shy about going nude for my craft -- as long as it's integral to the story of the photo shoot.  I mean, I've got the body for it.

I can do characters.  Ed Grimley anyone?

And I can also play "cute" if that's what's called for.  Call me.

In Support of the Venice Family Clinic

This afternoon, we headed over to the Venice Art Walk auction at the Google campus.  While we were checking out the art, we bumped into Toby from "The Office." He asked me if I'd mind posing for a photo. I told him I did mind, but he took a picture anyway.  I tried my best to ruin it.

Later, I found this giant chess board in the courtyard and contemplated my next move.

 The game of chess seems pretty easy.  If this is what working at Google is all about, sign me up.



I'll admit I don't know all the rules, but I'm sure this is a legitimate move.

Sick Day!

A few well-timed coughs and some convincing sniffles got me some one-on-one time at home with my dad today.  I'll leave it to the dear readers to decide whether I really needed to stay home from school.  I mean, do I look ill to you?

Anyway, I got to play with any toy in the house that I wanted without any interference from my sister, Grace.  This new experience was magical.  I love Gracie, but you know when she's around.

 Of course, I spent a little time reading books.

And I practiced the fundamentals of crawling.  I think I've almost got it. 

Tomorrow, it's back to the old routine.

Two Rights Do Make a Right

Takes One to Know One

 Every evening before bed, I make sure to read a few books.  One of my favorites is called Scary Clowns.  It's amazing.

 And it truly is creepy.  What can I say?  I like scary things.

Of course, then I have to sleep with the light on.

A Mother of a Day

 Today, I borrowed Aunt B.'s cool shades, strapped on a life jacket, and went boating.

 I invited Fuffy to join me.  She likes spending time with me, so she happily came along.

 I helped our captain, Great Grandpa Jim, guide us through the harbor.  I'm quite the navigator.

 Fuffy had the genius idea of bringing ice cream, which I devoured, while Aunt B., well, I don't know what she was doing.  (She's kind of a goofball.)

Oh, yeah, Ben came along, too, and thoroughly enjoyed wearing his life jacket, as you can see.  We hope all of the mothers out there had a great day!
