Happy New Year!

Cheers! I headed over to my friend Aaron's for a little New Year's Eve party, New York-style.

I found a few items I wanted to take home with me. Don't worry, my parents persuaded me to leave them at Aaron's.

Bottoms up! (Whatever that means....) I wish you all the best in 2012.

It Was Christmastime in the City

Let me tell you: there's a lot that goes into having all your family over for Christmas. For example, someone's gotta cook.

And that someone is not me. I opened presents all morning and rode my bike around.
I got a little silly.

Like when I borrowed Uncle Sandy's silly putty and crafted this lovely beard:

Later, Bamma and Bampa and I put together my new dollhouse.

And then I opened even more presents from my grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors. (Don't blame me for the lack of pictures! I can't take them AND be in all of them!)

Kermit and I waltzed.

And then I applied some stickers to my face, as one does.

All in all, it was a wonderful day. I love my family!

A Visit to Watts Towers

Hi! I wanted to get these photos up right away, to show all my out-of-town friends how beautiful the weather is here today.

I took my houseguests, Farmor and Dave, over to see the Watts Towers. There are the towers behind me.

I did a little exploring on my own, when I got the chance.

Later, I got a boost from my mom, so I could get a better view.

Merry Christmas to All!

I hope everyone had as good a day as I had today. I'm off to bed now, happy and exhausted.

I'm a Patron of the Arts, Don't You Know

I hitched a ride over to LACMA this afternoon and became a member of the museum. If anyone wants to take me, I can get you in for free.

I really enjoyed the outdoor installations.

I spent a bit of time running in and out of this one.

I eventually tired myself out.

After I recovered, I counted the lamp posts.

New Jams City

Here I am in my new reindeer pajamas. Thanks, Aunt Alison. They're just what I've been wishing for -- besides a Christmas tree, which I already got!

It may look like I'm helping to decorate the tree....

But I prefer to take the ornaments off of the tree.

Uncle Fur Face and Aunt Cammy

I hosted some out-of-town visitors over the weekend.
Uncle Scott is a big reader, so I joined him for several books. I don't think he cared too much for the Berenstein Bears; his reading was a little flat.

Aunt Cammy has the perfect reading voice. She should do books-on-tape.

We spent a lot of time outside in the sun, because they don't have much of it these days where they live.

This is the moment I coined Uncle Scott's new nickname. I hope he likes it.

And for today's big finish: my official Christmas portrait with Santa Claus! (Talk about fur face....)

Can You Guess?

Today, my parents told me not to do something.
Can you guess what it was?

Still no idea? Keep thinking, and let me know if you figure it out.

Here's another one: what's stuck to my bottom in this photo?

Here's a closer look. Leave a comment if you have a guess.

Thanksgiving with Aunt Bearbs

I headed to Bamma's and Bampa's for Thanksgiving dinner and got to spend some time with my Aunt B.

She taught me the peace sign.

We made faces.

Someone maybe ate too much turkey.

Then I put on my jams and chilled out. It was a good day. Happy Thanksgiving, Everybody!

The Muffets are Coming!

While I was reading the Sunday paper at breakfast, I came across some very interesting news: the Muffets movie is opening on Wednesday. (I know they're actually the Muppets, but I like to say "Muffets.")

I'm not getting paid for this advertising. Honest. It's just a product I really believe in and think people should see.

One of my favorite Muffets is Gonzo, but I really like all of them. Have I mentioned that I can't wait for the movie to come out?

I've Got Style, I've Got Grace

Today I dressed myself to show you all what it would look like if I ruled the world.

But then some fool brought me my orange sunglasses. With this outfit??? You've got to be kidding.

I said, "Get me my purple glasses!!! Like, YESTERDAY already!!!"

It's called acting, People! And I'm good at it.

Why am I watching a high school football game in a bar on a Saturday morning?

I watched part of the Choate vs. Deerfield football game yesterday at the Village Idiot in L.A. (Don't ask.) Choate crushed Deerfield 41-7, in case you were wondering. (I know you weren't.)

Can't Stop the Beat!

Here's one last photo from my trip to Mexico, taken by a family friend. I don't think I have to tell you that I was en fuego on the dance floor.

Happy Halloween!

I borrowed a monkey suit for some early-evening trick-or-treating.
The costume came with an attached banana.

This flyer was posted around Sayulita.  It seems appropriate for today's post.

I rode my trike around the house before hitting the neighborhood, where I collected "bunches" of candy that my parents will probably never let me taste.

I finished up with some delicious milk.  It's no candy, but sometimes it does the "trick."
