On the Hunt

Last Sunday was Easter, so Bamma and Bampa hosted an egg hunt at their house for Ben and me.

With my assistance, Ben was able to stumble upon a few in-plain-sight eggs.  (Without me, Ben can be hopelessly lost.)

I found the more expertly placed eggs.  Later, Aunt B. and I dyed a few fresh ones.

Granny C. and Aunt B. posed nicely for this shot, but, as usual, I refused to play it straight for the camera.

I don't know where I get that from.

Park 'n Play

We're still behind in our blog posts, but I want to give a shout out to this new park in Santa Monica that we visited about a week ago.  It's located by Chez Jay, between Ocean Avenue and City Hall, and it's fantastic!  There are so many climbing structures, slides, and even a water play area.

As always, I was determined to climb as high as possible.

It was pretty easy, as you can probably tell.  I barely broke a sweat.

I also got in some cardio by running back and forth across the grassy field, while flying my kite.

And, because I read everything Ben posts, here's payback to my little brother.  Look at him, in his soggy diaper.

He plopped down in one of the many streams that pass through the park.  I mean, he just sat there.  In his diaper.  And he laughed.  Who does that?

For good measure, here are two more photos of waterlogged Ben.  Maybe he'll think twice about calling me out for shenanigans in the future.

He can be so embarrassing, and he doesn't even know it.  But I love the kid anyway!

Experiencing Technical Difficulties

So, we're suffering through some technical glitches, like our youngest computer is "vintage," according to the Apple genius we consulted.  (If you've been to an Apple store, you'll know I'm not being facetious when I call him a "genius." It's their term not mine.)  All I know is the computer is toast, so I'm posting from an even older machine that seems to have been wiped clean of data and takes forever to upload photos. Have patience. (I'm trying to.)

I've taken up gardening in my spare time.

I'm not much for weeding, but give me a watering can and I'm all over it.  I'm particularly adept at watering my shoes.

I just can't water enough.

To tell you the truth, getting out and working in the yard relaxes me and helps me deal with my sister's non-stop shenanigans.

Oy, Grace can be ridiculous.

East Coast Swing

Grace and I traveled to New Hampshire to spend a few days with Grammy and Grampy, if you were wondering about all the snow in the last post.

I got a chance to play my best trick on Grampy.

I went boneless, so he couldn't hold on to me. It works every time.

Of course, Grace was a perfect angel.

Ha! Nobody believes that.
