A Sign of the Times

I didn't take any photos this past weekend, but my dad and I were amused by this sign recently, so I thought I'd post it.

And here's another recent photo of me -- amused!

I Love March Madness!

Who doesn't?

For the early rounds, I like to kick back in my favorite chair with a cold one.

I also enjoy watching the games from the seat of my scooter. It doesn't matter, as long as I get to watch that little ball get thrown around.

Am I too young to dislike Coach K? (And by "dislike" I think you know what I mean, but my parents won't let me use the "h" word.) Thank you, University of Arizona! Even though I picked you to lose in the first round, thank you!

Eat Your Peas

I hear some people don't care for peas. Me? I love them.

I'll eat them with a spoon.

I'll eat them by the fistful.

All gone!
(I also love broccoli, in case you were wondering.)

Some Light Reading

After a long day, I like to throw on some footie jams and curl up on the couch.

With a good book, of course. I went with Go Dog Go (a classic); Dad went with the New Yorker.

To each his own.

A Wild Weekend, Part 2

Part 2 of my wild weekend consisted of an impromptu party at Fuffy and G. Gr. Jim's house.

With a special out-of-town guest - Uncle Donny!

I really cracked him up.

Finally, G. Gr. Jim and I shared thumb-sucking techniques. He had some ideas I'm going to try out in the near future. Like, maybe right now.

A Wild Weekend, Part 1

Mom ran in a half marathon this weekend at the Wild Animal Park near San Diego - it makes me sleepy just thinking about it. I had to take a little nap on Uncle Kelle's shoulder.

The elephants perked me up. I made my underbite-elephant-roar face, which doesn't really look much like an elephant, but no one was terribly picky.

Aunt B and I cruised the petting zoo.

And I have another word - butterfly!

Sunday is Farmers Market Day for Me

So, this morning I headed over to the local farmers market with Aunt Kate. First stop: Homeboy Bakery. That's where I get my fresh bread, croissants, and coffee cake. Sales help fund services for former gang members, so I like to support them any time I can. The prices are reasonable and the baked goods are delicious!

I can't get enough of their bread. Don't worry, I paid for it.

Next stop was my favorite hummus vendor. I like to eat it with my Homeboy bread.

The salesmen always give me plenty of free samples, so how could I not bring some home?

The final stop: checking out the dogs!

Slides! And birthdays!

Hello fans!
I really enjoyed myself today. First I went to the park with Grandma and Grandpa, and then I took them out to dinner for a belated birthday celebration.

I could have done this all day!

I showed them how it's done. They took video, presumably to help them practice their technique when I'm not around to demonstrate.

They were clearly impressed. I really hope they walked away from this lesson with at least a fraction of what I was trying to teach them.

Seriously, I am a total pro. (Is that a profession? Slide-rider? Can someone look into that? Because I think it's my calling.)

Please call my handlers if you want to set up an appointment. I can do nights (before sundown) and weekends, but I prefer an early morning session.

Mmm, guacamole - I earned these calories!
