Suit & Tie

 Ben here, dressed and ready for work.

 Wait a minute.  What does "work" mean?  

No way!  I'm too young for that.

Uh-oh.  Meet my new boss.  She looks like a real task-master.

I hope no one minds if I take a nap.  This work stuff is exhausting.

Take a Hike

I like to work out, so I went hiking at Culver City Park today.

I ran the stairs, up and down.

I ran the trails.

I ran the trails some more.  It was hard work.

Ben came, too, but he mostly slept.  He definitely didn't run the trails or the stairs.  He's soooo lazy.

And I finished up with some rope climbing for good measure.

It's Electric!

My hair is ... how shall I say this?  Amazing!

You can't take your eyes off of it, can you?

Look at this side shot.  Crazy, right?

My dad says I get it from him, but even I know that's nonsense.  Oof!

Nobody else has hair like this.

Go Fly a Kite

 Sunday was the Redondo Beach kite festival.  I'd never seen so many kites in one place before.

I may have been tired there for a while.

 But Grace was tireder.  I had one of my rare opportunities to push her around.

She came alive for the Spiderman, Dora, and Ariel kites, though.  She loves her some cartoon characters.

A Few of My Favorite Things

Two things I can't get enough of in this world: great-grandma snuggles and hands. Granny C agrees with me. Although I can't say I've ever seen her chew on any of her fingers.

Hahahaha. I'm going to eat that finger. I hope Fuffy doesn't fight me for it.

I'm not particular, but my own fingers always seem to be close by. And always delicious.

My Getty

 I spent yesterday at the Getty Center.  I appreciated the Vermeer.  And I can never get enough of Mapplethorpe, as you know.  But I didn't understand this installation, even though it was designed for kids.  It was all Pearblossom Highway and mirrors. 

 I was confused.

 Really confused.

But my driver and I had fun anyway.

Another Big Disney Day

 Disneyland is like my home away from home.  I'm the kind of park visitor that the characters know by name.  Minnie was so excited to see me when I stopped by last week with Bamma and Bampa. She's the greatest.

 I can never tell if Eeyore is excited.  He's not big on demonstrating joy.

 Also, is this Chip or Dale?  I have no idea.  I love you anyway, whichever one you are.

Pooh is always welcoming.  He also has one of the best rides in the land.  Check it out if you don't believe me.

Ben for Mayor

OK, so I'm pretty sure I'm not old enough to be elected mayor of anything, but I did stroll over to the polls today to help my dad vote.  I got a cool sticker for my efforts.

Just Doing My Thing

 Grace has been away for a couple of days, so I've been making my own plans and doing my own thing.  Today, I went to the beach in Santa Monica.

 I'd never hung out at the beach before.

 I had it made in the shade.

 And I practiced sitting up.

Whoa.  Sitting up is hard.
