Another Relaxing Weekend

On Saturday, I took in a little World Cup soccer with my pal David. I was disappointed to see the U.S. get knocked out of the tournament, but at least I got to see a little bit of Landon Donovan in action.

On Sunday, I headed out to the Palisades for breakfast at Cafe Vida with the gang. I got passed around the table like a basket of bread. Hey, everybody likes bread, so I didn't mind.

In fact, I loved it!

And I ended up snuggling in the arms of my good friend Kate. It was perfect.

Cue T. Buns?

Why are certain people calling me "Cue T. Buns"? I don't know much yet, but this really makes no sense to me.

Can someone explain it to me? Please?!? Is it some kind of joke? I don't get it.

Oh, never mind.

Relaxing Weekend, Part II

So while I spent the weekend ordering Sesame Street on pay-per-view, we were also celebrating a whole bunch of cool stuff....

Grandma Diane and Grandpa Paul's retirement! (Here they are, taking a picture of me, obvs.)

Uncle Kelle and Aunt Bearbs's engagement! (I don't know why I'm not in this picture.... I'll have to have a talk with M.L. and H.)

We also celebrated Milk Lady's birthday and her Husband's first Father's Day, but Milk Lady said she looked "weird" in our family photo, so here's one of me and Grandpa Paul hanging out at dinner (where I was perfectly behaved).

After all the celebrating, I needed to relax some more. And so I did.
Thanks for the great weekend, Grandma and Grandpa!

A Relaxing Weekend

I spent the weekend as a lady of leisure, lounging around a resort hotel, ordering room service, and sipping milk cocktails.

I got dressed up when I felt like it,

made my first splash in a pool,

and shared a laugh with Auntie Bearbs. Aunt B. really cracks me up.

Milk Lady's Birthday

Today Milk Lady turned one thousand years old! Or something like that; I'm not so great with ages. Milk Lady's Husband took her out to dinner, which meant Ladies' Night at our house!

That's right. Fuffy and Grandma Diane and I stayed up late, drinking milk, playing with stuffed animals, having girl talk.
You know, the usual.

I wish it was Milk Lady's birthday every night! Although maybe it is. Again, I'm not really hip to how this whole "birthday" thing works.

We Have a Series!

I was excited to watch the Lakers-Celtics game with Milk Lady's Husband this evening. I was a little nervous, though. I'm supposed to be neutral, but the Lakers have looked pretty dominant.

I really love basketball.

OK, I may have fallen asleep during the third quarter, but I definitely came alive during the fourth, when, coincidentally, so did the Celtics. Although I remain neutral at this point, I am a serious fan of Big Baby -- obviously.

Memorial Day Weekend, Part II, or DOGS!

Our first stop on Memorial Day weekend was Aunt Bearbins and Uncle Kelle's house. I needed to check out Aunt Bearbs's new jewels (he put a ring on it!) and meet their new stuffed animal, Murray the dog.

Here's Uncle Kelle, Milk Lady's Husband, and me at the dog park. A "dog park" appears to be an enclosed space where people let their stuffed animals run free.

Murray and me - we got along pretty well.

Aunt Bearbs made Murray dance. I like to do the same with Blue Dog and Giraffe.

These dogs were hilarious - there were stuffed animals chasing each other, and some even went and fetched other stuffed animals. Consider my mind officially blown.
