Party at the Pier

On Sunday, my buddy Anya celebrated her birthday at the Santa Monica Pier amusement park, so my dad and I got to enjoy some of the rides.  We had a blast spinning around on this one.

Anya introduced me to Inky, the park's mascot.  The big squid was pretty cool and didn't freak out when we tried to touch him/her.

There's an airplane ride at the park that's kind of fun.  We really wanted to go on the roller coaster that was above us, but apparently I'm too short to ride it, which is ridiculous.

But that's OK. I amused myself trying to make my dad sick on the spinning balloon ride.

Ain't I Pretty?

Over the weekend, I did some sorting for an upcoming garage sale and found a few things I just had to try on.

I'm not one for hair-bows usually, but this one really works for me, I think.
And what's summer without arm-warmers?! Everyone should own a pair. Am I right?

The whole ensemble is a winning look, don't you agree?

Tiger-Face Grace

Grrrr!!!  Give a girl a marker, and this is what you'll get.

Today at school, my buddy Suriya and I got creative.

Suriya helped turn me into a tiger.  And I helped Suriya become a lion.  I may still look like this tomorrow, because the ink didn't quite wash off.

 What's that I hear?

Oh yeah, me, growling like a tiger.

Another Day at the Beach

I celebrated my mom's birthday yesterday at the Santa Monica Beach House.  I love that place.

We spent some time in the pool.

I contemplated the meaning of sand.

I made a kite that Bamma helped me fly.

And I did a bit of rock-climbing.

I think I'm going to need a day off.

Clown Questions

Washington National Bryce Harper got me thinking about some of the crazy things people ask me?  For the record, these are clown questions, bro.
"Is that your natural hair color?"  Clown question.

"Do you write your blog yourself?"  Clown question.

"Would you rather watch Dinosaur Train or Toy Story?"  CLOWN QUESTION!

"Are Buzz and Jessie an item?" Clown question.

"Do you want to go to bed now?"  The ultimate clown question.

Embarrassing

Why do parents think potty photos are so great?  They're actually really lame.  You know what it takes to get me on the potty?  Two M&Ms.  That's right, two M&Ms.

If you're going to keep taking my picture, I'm at least going to smile.  But I wish you would put the camera away.  I like my privacy.
