Big News!

Today I was able to sit without support.

OK, here I'm getting an assist from my pal Giraffe, but that's only because, by the time someone was able to get the camera out, my abdominals were a bit tired. I was so excited that I barfed on Milk Lady's Husband. Oh, well.

"Hot Tub Time Machine"

Need I say more? .... Probably.

If you love 1986 and John Cusack like I do, go see this movie. Milk Lady's Husband and I saw it at the Grove today. It's decent, with the kind of gross-out humor I really get into.

Umami Burger and Pals

Yum, hamburgers!

So I know I'm late to the bandwagon, but I think I understand the fifth taste sensation! In a couple of years, I'm sure we'll all agree we were silly to be so excited about hamburgers, but right now I don't care. I'll be back! Milk Lady's husband recommends the Port & Stilton burger, if you're interested. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Umami Burger is a burger chainlet in L.A. We visited the one in Los Feliz on Saturday. The staff was super-accommodating. (Three strollers is kind of ridiculous, if you ask me.) It's in the old Cobras & Matadors spot on Hollywood Boulevard. Check it out.

OK, this photo isn't from our visit to Umami Burger, but I wanted you to see how sexy Milk Lady and my friend David are -- in a 1970s/swingers kind of way. I couldn't have cared less, but you can see how jazzed they were to be photographed in this tableau, if you will.

This is my new pal Kitt. She is super-cute. She reminds me of Katie Couric, when she was on the Today show not the Evening News. Anyway, Kitt is really sweet, and she could not get enough of the sweet potato fries at Umami Burger.

This is my other new pal Perry. He had no idea I was touching his head. Can you believe that?!? Heh-heh-heh.

Banana-Face Disaster!

So, this is exactly what I was talking about yesterday. The man does not know what he's doing!

I began the day looking great: cute onesie, adorable shoe-socks, fantastic hair. And look what happened. Milk Lady's Husband decided to feed me some banana.

Yes, that is banana stuck in my hair. Please look away. It's embarrassing.

That is also banana on my knee. It got so bad I had to grab the spoon out of his hand and feed myself. Ridiculous.

You've Got To Be Kidding!

Today is a beautiful day, so I thought I'd start with a sweet picture of me and my pal Blue Dog at the park before I start telling you about how my world has suddenly been rocked -- and not in a good way.

I thought Milk Lady was joking when she said she was going back to work and leaving me in the care of her husband, but it's been three days now and I'm starting to think she's serious.

See how I'm kind of stepping on my pal Blue Dog in this photo? That about sums up my feelings for Milk Lady's Husband right now. (Thanks, Blue Dog, for playing along and allowing me to do this to you for purposes of illustration. I hope it didn't hurt too much.) The dude sleeps late and then feeds me milk from a bottle. That's not how you're supposed to do it. Yesterday he put a Pampers "1" diaper on me. I don't wear "1"s anymore; I wear "2"s! Everyone knows that. This afternoon, when he was feeding me bananas, which I love BTW, he could barely find my mouth with the spoon. I was covered in the stuff by the end. Is he blind?!? He's doing everything wrong.

Sometimes I'm so hungry I have to eat my feet. It's ridiculous. Things better improve or I'm going to have to speak to a supervisor about this guy.

Run, Forrest, Run!

I don't know what the title of this post is referencing, but I heard it might be appropriate for today's musings, so I used it. I attended my first L.A. Marathon this morning. Since I'm still kind of short, I needed a boost to see all the runners. That's the finish line behind me. The racers were really inspiring. I especially liked that a woman crossed the finish line first! You go, lady with the fast legs and really tight shorts! Her diaper must be REALLY small.
If you squint, you can see one of the runners heading for the finish line behind me. I hope to do that someday.
Wait a minute. Twenty-six what?!? That sounds terrible.

Real Vacation Photos.

A few posts back, I put up some fake vacation photos from my stay at Grandma Diane's and Grandpa Paul's house. Here's what really happened:

I flew! Hilarious!

A monkey looked at me! Hilarious!

I sat on G. Gr. Jim's lap and sucked my thumb! Awesome!

And then I fell asleep.
The End.

A Retrospective.

The Milk Lady has gone back to something called "work" - this is a picture from lunch on our last day together. She did not seem pleased to be going to this work place. She started muttering about something called a "lottery", and how "you can't win if you don't play". Now Milk Lady's husband is hanging out with me. He said he'll be home for "two months", whatever that means. I think it'll be pretty fun, as long as there is plenty of you-know-what (MILK).

I can't be bothered.

I'm sorry, but the weather is too nice to blog. I'm sure all of my fans understand.

Vacation, Part II

The Milk Lady and her husband went to Mammoth this weekend, and at first I was a little nervous. Then it turned out to be AWESOME because they left me with all the milk I could drink, and I got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa! We totally partied.

I ate my hands with Grandma.

I read books with Grandpa.**

Those jokers (M.L. and her H.) can head out of town anytime!

**Small disclaimer: These pics are from another visit, since we were too busy having fun to take many photos. On this vacation, however, I can assure you I ate my hands and read books. I just don't have the photographic evidence.

I've Been Busy!

Look, peeps; I'm sorry to leave you hanging. I've had places to go (Stroller Strides! The Bathtub!) and people to see (Froggy!)

Yesterday I had my first playdate, emphasis on date. I met Jackson "Froggy" T., and he is RAD. He crawls, he drools, he tried to grab my hair. I may have kicked him in the face. It was, on the whole, a very successful first date. Ever.

We played Candyland; Froggy's sister Ella won. Well, really their mom Sumako won, but they traded pieces at the end. Ella would have liked me to stay and be her little sister, except I did not meet her strict criteria. (WANTED: Little sister who is one-year old, has teeth, is named Olivia. Send applications to Ella.)

We make a pretty cute couple, right?

The Bachelor, Part II

Stop it! I cannot watch any more of The Bachelor. But I also can't look away. This show can only end badly. And I guess I'll have to be there when it does. OMG. I hope you're all watching, 'cause I just threw up watching horse-face Vienna talk about her "love" for Jake (does anyone have a burp cloth?), and I hope you did too. Let's talk about it in the morning. Ciao!
