Fiesta Time!

I want to give a shout out to my Aunt B. and Kelle, who are getting married soon. I attended a little shindig to celebrate their impending nuptials. It got a little out of hand, as you can see.

I'm starting with this photo, even though it's clear that it must be out of sequence, because it's got to be late when the hair starts showing up on your lip. Also, I'm wearing a bib, so you know I've gotten sloppy.

Anyway, earlier I enjoyed some time with my Granny C.
And I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I think she enjoys my company, too.

I thought I was posing for this one by myself, but it turns out Fuffy and Jenna were in it, too. Seeing the photos after they're taken can be so humbling. Thanks for joining me guys; next time let me know you're there so I don't feel so silly later.

At least I wasn't the only silly one at the party. I'm talking to you, Mom. You too, Fuffy.

And here I am with one of my loyal fans, sharing an iced tea. Sometimes, I like to hang out with "the people" just so they can share in the experience of being me. It's the least I can do. See, don't I sound humbled?

I Like Cake

I attended a baby shower over the weekend. I don't really get the concept. I didn't see no baby! And the only thing resembling a shower was the water running down the brick wall next to the pool. But there was cake, so I was cool with it.

The cake was really delicious.

Seriously. I could have eaten a few more pieces.

I couldn't pass up a dip in the pool, which meant my dad couldn't either. I practiced my strokes. Here, I'm doing the doggie paddle.

I also shot some hoops! You know I love me some hoops.

Don't Forget to Wash Your Hands

It's very important to wash your hands, especially if you work in a restaurant.

If you're small in stature, look for these kid-size sinks. I find they're located in almost every bathroom, public or private.

Make sure to get your hands nice and wet. You really have to fight the germs off.

I think if I lean in far enough I can just reach the soap.

Then rinse, and you're done. All clean!

Pool Party and a Walk on the Beach

My mom and I put on our swimsuits and headed to Malibu for a pool party.

Water!!! (My dad came along, too.)

There were tons of pool toys. I think this one is supposed to be a log. I practiced my breathing and swimming technique, while rolling the log.

Later, I headed down to the beach and struck a pose. (Hey, I'm available for modeling, if there are any agents out there.)

I went beach-combing with my friend Harry.

We walked and walked.

I played hard-to-get for a little while.

But then I let him catch me. What can I say? He charmed me. It was a good day.

First Harvest and Pigtails

Welcome to my backyard. Two things happened today. First, I tried out pigtails.

They're definitely a "do." (Here, I'm working on my balance, while trying not to fall into the garden.)

Second, I harvested my first zucchini. I actually picked three, but this one was the first. (And, yes, I like to dress up when I do my gardening.)

I prefer to eat it like a county-fair turkey leg.

Victory is mine!

Don't Mess with Me!

Safety never takes a holiday, so I got myself a new bike helmet. In the store, a kid -- a boy, of course -- asked my dad why I was getting the one with a skull and crossbones. The real question is why wouldn't I get the skull-and-crossbones helmet?!?

The design is by Paul Frank, and, if you've been paying attention, you already know that I'm a fan of his work.

Anyway, now I feel a little safer on my rides.

And if people think I'm a bad***, well, I don't mind.
