The sun was shining, so my crew and I headed down to Manhattan Beach for a lazy afternoon in the fresh air. First, we had lunch at the Kettle, an old favorite.
Then we headed down to the pier. I like the Manhattan Beach Pier; it's quieter than the Santa Monica Pier, but it's got more going on than the Venice Pier. I took a few moments just to watch the waves roll in.
Check out this shark outside the aquarium. Awesome!
All I wanted to do was go surfing, but my mom and dad said the water was too cold. I would have worn a wetsuit. Duh.
I had an epic time anyway.
