Swingin'

I spent a considerable amount of time at the park this weekend.  Here, I'm contemplating the swings.

It's My Party!

My parents threw me a little party over the weekend in honor of my second birthday, which is this week.  I got a lot of cool stuff, a bit of which appears in these photos.

Here, I'm playing with my Cookie Monster that actually eats cookies that I feed him.  You can see my dancing Elmo in the background.  I love all things Sesame Street.

I can't wait to hit the tennis court with the racket my mom got for me.

I also got the second Knuffle Bunny book, which I'm already really enjoying.  

Visitor from Outer Space! Or Alaska.

I had a surprise visitor last night . . .

Aunt Cammy!

Unfortunately, the picture and video of Aunt Cammy reading me my favorite book -- The Monster Mash! It's timely and fresh. Do not argue with me -- is not uploading properly.

My Morning Workout

I like to start my day with a run on the beach.

I follow up with a little yoga on the deck.

I try out the different poses.

And I finish up with a fresh-air nap.

More Fun in the Sun

I ran over to the beach by Mr. Rogers's house this morning. I don't have any clue who that guy was, but I'm told he had a show on television back in the day.
I couldn't wait to get in the water. And I would have run until the water was over my head if my dad hadn't caught up to me.

I did a little dance; I was so excited.


Eventually, I was instructed to get out of the water before my lips fell off.

Later, after I got out of my wet clothes, I colored with Grampy. It was a good day.

Lobsterfest

I attended a lobster dinner at Grammy and Grampy's the other evening. Here I am with my cousins Theresa ("Cuzzo!") and Lindsey. If you look closely, it may appear that I have a plate of lasagna, but, believe me, I ate lobster. Everyone knows how much I love lobster.

It may also appear that I love corn, but I don't really care for it. I do like butter, though.

And I also discovered that I like lemons.

Back on the Beach

As you can see, the weather is pretty nice here. Hurricane Irene blew through on her way up the coast, but everything's fine now.

I headed back for some swim time at Step Beach.

It felt pretty good to stand in the sand after a couple of days away from the beach.
